The
process control employed by Metalfond has been studied, developed and specifically
applied
to pressure die-casting foundries.
There are 3 systems, working in only one
environment, which monitor and help the operators to manage and control the productions
and make easier the use of the machines and of their peripheral equipments.

of the whole working-station.

The system called "SSP", or Supervision System for Presses, allows the
management of the whole machine, including also the management of the tools with
their corresponding pictures, the setting cards, the management of the operators
through passwords and the integration and management of the peripheral equipments
( Robots, Removal devices, Lubricators, etc.). | |
ICS
(Injection
Control System)

System for the control of the injection parameters
(pressures, temperatures,
speed, etc.).
· The system called "ICS", or Injection
Control System, allows a constant control of all the parameters used during the
injection of the metal into the tool; it allows moreover to warn a possible external
unit of the good or bad functioning of the press, so that it is possible to manage
the scraps in an almost perfect way. It is possible to set supervision tolerances
on pressures, on temperatures, on speed, etc. | |
SPC
(Statistic
Process Control)

System with advanced statistical analysis.
· The system called
"SPC", or Statistic Process Control, is a system with an advanced statistical
analysis, that allows Pareto analysis, Cp/Cpk process capacity indexes, Correlation
indexes and Diagrams of cycle times. |
